| How Leaderboards work Your child can compete with other Duolingo learners on the Leaderboard by completing lessons and earning points. Learners who participate in Leaderboards are 25% more likely to finish a course! To celebrate their progress, your child can win weekly medals and rewards. |

| How we're keeping Leaderboards safe for kids Your child's profile will be kept private and anonymous. Other learners won't be able to see your child's name and profile, or follow them from Leaderboards. Your child also won't be able to see other learners' profile photos, or follow other learners from Leaderboards. |
