In an email from Brett today about Kansas:
I found out today that I'll really only have Sunday's off from training instead of the whole weekend. =( And it sounds like the very best you can hope for is around 1900 being off during the week, and then other nights are spent training into whatever hour of the night. I don't know what the ratio of those days are to the 1900 days.
Just when I was starting to think it couldn't really get worse.

Gail had a point about all of this. She told me before you knew that the training that Brett would have might be so time-consuming that there would be no reason for him NOT to be in the barracks. I know that it is harder for you, but it is such intensive training that it may be easier for Brett to be able to just go to the barracks and fall into bed. You can make it easier for him by understanding that (or at least pretending to...I would be pretending). I know that you are the perfect wife for Brett and, as such, you will know what is best in this situation. I am praying for you!
hugs and more hugs. and maybe you should come get your presents like now because they will make you SO HAPPY.
Garrrrrrrr
Hi Abigail. I have been lurking around Amy's blog for a couple years now and she suggested I might enjoy snooping around your life too. Actually she said you were a great person. Anyways, sounds like you are in a tough time right now in more ways than one. It never hurts to have an extra person praying for you so, I will. I really liked the Isaiah verses from a few weeks ago. I think I should start my day with them for a few weeks. It really puts things in perspective.
